Fresh 48 session | Cornwall Community Hospital, Cornwall, Ontario

I am always tickled pink when I receive messages that compliment my work!! They truly put a smile on my face & warms the heart! So, imagine when I receive a request from another photographer to capture the arrival of her baby!! I have meet Nancy on one or two occasions while working on a wedding & have hired her to work on some forms for the business. When she contacted me to inquire about photographs of her newborn, I was beyond excited to be working with her again!

Being a photographer also, Nancy know how important images are for such important moments as the addition of a new family member. She loved the idea of having a Fresh 48 session, to capture those first moments together as a new family! Luckily, Cornwall Community Hospital is just a hop, skip & a small jump away…so generally it is easy to quickly make arrangements for a Fresh 48 session.

My favourite part of Fresh 48 sessions is the unposed moments with parents & their new arrival. Looking back at my own experience of being a new parent, I would have jumped at the chance to have these special moments captured!

As a special treat, Nancy’s parents joined in for the session!! Such a special gift to capture these first moments with their new grandchild!

Babies change so quickly….really in a matter of days after birth they change! The tiny little toes, wrinkly fingers & wispy hair last only a matter of weeks…as they change & grow! I am so thankful to have been able to capture these moments for Nancy & Russell to cherish! Congratulations on your little man!!! He is precious!!
