You know all your hard work is starting to pay off, when you are attracting the RIGHT clients!!! It makes my heart sing & puts a perma smile on my face to have clients that 100% trust me plus my photography style!! And..YES…I just made up another word according to my auto correct!!!
That is what has been going on this past year!! Every single client has said “I trust you” at least once during their session…you have no idea how awesome that is to hear as a photographer!!
I do remember Justine & Kurt saying exactly that during their maternity session this past fall! She placed 100% trust in me & my abilities…not only photography abilities but the ability to make them feel comfortable in front of the lens, make them laugh & posing her in flattering ways!!
We used two different locations during our time together…the first was a small dirt road across from my home. Sometimes, when I am walking or going for a run..there are little spots that attract my attention, when I think “ I NEED to photograph a session here!”. Well we visited all those spots for this session!!
I have been eyeing this apple tree along the roadside for months now…just waiting for the perfect session to use it as a backdrop! I have to say…Justine & this dress we MADE for this tree, they are some of my FAVE’S!!! All the heart eyed emoji’s!!!
We finished off our session, at my most favourite spot!!! This location has been my “go to” location all year & I am looking forward to using it again once lockdown is over!!!
Anyways, these two were such a pleasure to photograph!! They were so comfortable with each other & truly made my job a easy one!!! Having a honest connection between the couple makes a world of difference when photographing a session…if they are super comfy with each other, it’s very easy to put them at ease & forget they are being photographed!!
I am SO excited for them to welcome their new addition to the world…even if it’s a little upside down right now! Adding a new baby to a family is always a time for celebration & I was thrilled to document these moments for them to enjoy with their child as they grow!!
