Maternity Session | South Glengarry, Ontario | Cornwall & Ottawa Family Photographer

I am sure I have mentioned before how much repeat clients mean to me!!! To me, it means that I did a job well done & I am always excited to see how their family has changed since our last session together!! It’s especially exciting when I have a repeat Watch Me Grow client!! To watch a family welcome a new addition & document all the changes during baby’s first year is SO rewarding!!

I meet Katherine & Josh when they were expecting their 1st child two years ago!! Now their little man, Jacob is going to be a big brother & they are enrolling in the Watch Me Grow collection again!!! It’s always a pleasure photographing this family, they are so warm, welcoming & full of smiles!!

Katherine chose to incorporate a maternity session into their collection & I am so happy so did!!

Pregnancy seems like such a long period of time when your in the thick of it BUT once baby is born, you quickly forget this period of time in your life! Maternity sessions are the perfect way to document this moment & children LOVE to look at photographs where they were still in mommy’s tummy!!

Jacob was the cutest during our session!! He has the perfect “cheese” smiles for every photograph & was more than happy to give his new sibling a kiss!!

Like all little ones, I try to keep the session moving & give them little games to play to interact with their parents! Once we are finished with family images, little ones can enjoy a snack, read a book or play a game with Dad while I focus on capturing some beautiful images of Mom!!

I was very thrilled when Katherine choose this green dress for there session!! It’s a new dress in my client closet & generally they are used for just maternity sessions. But, the closet is available for family & newborn sessions as well!!

This beautiful flower dress matches Katherine’s bubbly & warm personality perfectly!! We had some fun trying out some poses with LOTS of movement & she nailed it!!

Thank you to Katherine & Josh for trusting me to capture their family as they welcome a new member!! I am anxiously awaiting meeting little Oliver this week for their newborn session!!! You guys rock!!!
