Fresh 48 Session | Cornwall Community Hospital, Cornwall, Ontario

Happy New Year & welcome 2019!!!! Crazy how quickly a year flies by & now I will spend the next three weeks writing the wrong year on everything!!! LOL! Happens every year but I am sure I am not alone!

Anyways, back to focusing on this post…ahh Fresh 48’s…how I love thee!! These sessions are my absolute favourite type of session to photograph! They are so casual, relaxed but super important!! Your new little one has just arrived & the lack of sleep hasn’t hit you just yet….parents are still staring wistfully at their newborn wondering who are you going to be? What will you sound like? Will you have my blue eyes or Dad’s brown eyes? Such a magical time that often is forgotten to be photographed, between the visitors, feedings, changing & winks of sleep…you may forget to capture some images of this fleeting time.

Many of my Milestone Collection clients opt to add a Fresh 48 session to their collection & every single one of them would highly recommend this session!! I had the pleasure of meeting Linzi & Alex for their maternity session, such a wonderful couple. I was more than excited when they choose to add a Fresh 48 to their collection!

My favourite images from these sessions are the detail images, hands, feet, little tuffs of hair & toes…goodness they are the sweetest!

These first images of Mom & Dad with their new little one are priceless! The few images I took of my own littles in the hospital are always a favourite for my children to look at now that they are older. They love hearing their stories & seeing themselves when they were so small! I know Linzi & Alex will cherish these images…..plus Mr. Felix will enjoy looking at them in his album when he is older as well!
