In Home Newborn Session | Cornwall, Ontario
Oh my goodness…what a wild 3 days of weather we have had this week!! Today is the perfect day to stay inside & binge watch Netflix…of course after you view the images from this in home newborn session!!
Stephanie & James welcomed me into their home, to photograph their newest addition to their family….Bram! Their session was so casual & relaxed, just enjoying time together & capturing real everyday moments. Millie was so much more comfortable during our session inside a familiar surroundings & was able to grab a snack when she needed..which is always important to 2 year olds!
Storytime is extremely popular in their home, Millie loves her books!! She also loves puppet rabbits, as seen below!
While James was entertaining Millie with story’s, we were able to capture some precious moments with Stephanie & Bram! These quiet moments are ones we treasure for the rest of our lives…these little ones grow so fast!!
Once we were done capturing some 1 on 1 time with Mommy & Bram…it was back to family story time in Millie’s room. Many 2 year olds love hearing stories…it’s their favourite time with their parents, plus it’s a special time that we usually don’t think of photographing! These memories will be treasured by parents & children as they grow!
We didn’t forget the important images of Daddy & baby also!! James was able to have a special moment with little Bram, while Millie was off with Mommy enjoying a snack! James is such a natural in front of the camera….I know he doesn’t think so but he is always so comfortable & falls into posing so naturally!
Once snack time was over, Millie was back to see what was going on in the nursery! She enjoyed showing off her little brother & turning on his lullaby music…so cute!
I always bring one prop along to in home newborn sessions, if baby is cooperative I will always try to photograph a handful of images with the chosen prop. Clients are asked ahead of time which props they love & any colour themes they would like…these are always a favourite!!
