Stonehouse Vineyards Family Session | Glengarry, Ontario

Family sessions have truly become a favourite of mine, knowing that I am creating treasured memories for my clients warms my heart! Especially when it’s clients that I have worked with in other aspects of my business before they have stepped in front of my lens.

A perfect example would be the Quesnel family, I have worked with Maxine for a few years as she made the beautiful cakes that Milestone Collection clients enjoy! Every time I open the cake box, I always know she has created the perfect compliment to the cake smash session!

This is our second family sessions together & their two children get cuter every time I see them! I think it helps that they see & always chat with me when I stop by to pick up the cakes….they both were super easy to work with during our session!

This year we wandered around Stonehouse Vineyards in South Glengarry, just outside of Alexandria, Ontario…what a marvellous location! So many options & they have the most beautiful willow tree!

I always try to capture images of each parent with the children & if they are willing, with each individual child separately. Why you may be wondering? All children like to feel special & loved by their parents…some even ask to have their image printed so they can have the image displayed in their room! It’s amazing how quickly they change throughout the year & it’s a wonderful memory for parents & their children in 10 years!

I thoroughly enjoyed our session together with the Quesnel family!! Right after this image, we went inside & enjoyed sampling some of the wines available from Stonehouse, even ended up purchasing a bottle of their white wine for home!
