Welcome to the world Abigail | Cornwall, Ottawa & Montreal Newborn Photographer

Okay, I’m BACK!!! It’s been a weird few weeks, with the introduction of online learning & getting a new routine set into place! But we finally feel like we have a handle on things, so back to posting on my blog & focusing a little bit on my business again.

I know many of you are going through very similar changes in your own homes too! Remember to take it one day at a time & give yourself grace…no one is perfect! Okay…enough pep talk!

Today’s blog feature is a newborn session that I squeezed in JUST before this COVID-19 craziness began! I was thrilled when past bride, Jessica contacted me about a newborn session!! Many of my clients are past bridal clients & I am always super pumped that they continue to choose my services as their family’s grow!!

They welcomed a baby girl to their family in February named Abigail! She is such a treasure!!! The first thing you noticed about her was all her HAIR!!

When choosing colours for a session, it’s important that clients fill out the quick questionnaire. This helps me to chose the colours for their session BEFORE clients arrive at the studio. While I have had only a handful of clients that would like to change a colour, many a extremely happy with the colour choices I have made for them!

I haven’t pulled this mauve colour out for a session in awhile….just reminds me how much I adore this colour!

Jessica was hoping for an “awake” image & Miss Abigail gave us a few perfect awake images!

Was so excited to capture this session for Jessica & Wyatt!! They are such wonderful people & I am blessed to have them choose my services for all the big moments in life!!

Unfortunately, with COVID-19 guidelines I am unable to photograph newborn sessions at the moment! BOO!! But…I have put together a post helping to guide you to take better photographs at home!

Fingers crossed that I have another post up next week, going into a little more detail on your own in home newborn session!

Plans are in the works for helpful tips for DIY family photos but it’s still a few weeks away from being ready! I have to admit, I am missing all my wonderful clients!!
