Extended Family Session | Cornwall, Ontario | Cornwall, Ottawa & Montreal Family Photographer

There were tons of family sessions this past fall, the weather was beautiful!! Clients were eager to schedule their overdue sessions & everyone was full of smiles!!

I was contacted by Nancy, a fellow photographer & small business owner to finally photograph her whole family!! I was luck enough to have previously meet most of her family members at a wedding a few years ago…wow time flies..and they decided it was time to get those photos updated!!

This gorgeous location was a hidden gem on the shores of the St. Lawerence!! We all enjoyed a small hike through the bush but the walk was totally worth it!! I photographed Nancy & Russ’s little man Vincent 48 hours after he was born, two years ago!! I can’t get over how much he has changed!!!

Nancy convinced the rest of her family to join in this family session! I have met everyone at a wedding I photographed during Nancy’s pregnancy…some were in the bridal party & the rest I had met during the wedding day! So, it was a reunion of sorts for us all!

I was SO happy that she convinced everyone to join her family for this session! These images will be cherished by everyone, as it includes everyone they hold dear…especially her grandmother! Who was a total rockstar in front of the camera!!

This family session, was the perfect example of how to positively include a energetic 2 year old & all their quirks that come with them!! Vincent was not into the sit down & smile at the camera poses…it was honestly a challenge! But, luckily everyone was more than happy to move onto different posing combinations & we let Vincent do his thing.

When we needed him in the photos, sure we let him bring in the little “tree” with roots & all into the photo!! We kept him moving with fun walking images, tickles or swinging him in his parents arms…many thanks to these wonderful troopers who were patient enough to let him be himself!! I like to think the images turned out pretty awesome!!

This last one is my favourite!!! It completely sums up our session perfectly, Vincent doing his thing & the rest of the family just going with the flow!!! Just need the dogs in there to make it ultra perfect!!!
