Good morning…who here is ready to start a new week!! If only you could see how high in the air my hand is..there is something about Mondays, the start of a new week & the ability (in my mind at least) to begin fresh!!

Featured on today’s blog is one of my oldest clients & a dear friend….the MacDonald family!! If you know this crew, you know they are a hard working bunch & are some of the nicest people you will meet!!

I have been lucky enough to photograph them for YEARS, some even as newborns!! Each time is an adventure…especially with remembering names!! The older four, I can remember easily…it’s those younger three that I mix up!!

For the past two years, we have photographed their session in the same location…at their home farm & in the same spot!! It’s the start of their trail through the woods beside their house & it’s the PERFECT spot for photographs!! Beautiful light, perfect background & lots of space to squeeze everyone together!!

These kiddos have such awesome personalities!!! Especially, Loxley…the one with the surprised look on her face!! They are all quick the smile & super cooperative…which makes my job easier!!

Thanks to this wonderful fam jam, for our annual session!! Love that Amy values photography as much as I do & understands the need to have family photographs every year!! Warms my heart to know she has these moments documented for them to enjoy years from now!!
