How perfect is this little man?!? His mother reached out to me just after his arrival & inquired about a studio newborn session! She was referred by a friend & we quickly chatted over session details during a quick consultation call!

While many clients book their newborn sessions one to two months before baby is born, many clients contact me just after birth. Keep in mind, that studio sessions are most successful within two weeks after birth!

Photographing newborns between 7 to 12 days after birth when baby is still comfortable being wrapped & sleepy works best for studio newborn sessions! Keeping baby wrapped generally works wonders & once they are warm, generally they nod off to sleep for the remainder of the session!

While it’s always highly recommended parents & siblings join in on the session…occasionally clients choose to focus the newborn session on just their newest arrival!! Clients always have the choice & when siblings are young…having them included can be very stressful!! As long as the sessions are calm & relaxing..that is always the goal!!

I only book a maximum of 3 newborn clients a month!! This helps to ensure everyone receives a five star experience & keeps my calendar flexible to book newborn sessions once baby has arrived!!
