Studio Newborn Session | Cornwall & Ottawa Newborn Photographer

Studio newborn sessions are one of the options available to parents to capture their newest family member!! Newborn sessions are very dear to my heart….these sessions are something I should have done for each of my children but alas, at the time, I never understood how precious these captured moments would be later in life!

Luckily, all of my newborn clients fully understand how photographs bring you back to these most precious moments in life & I am thrilled to provide these images for them!

My favourite images to deliver to clients are the parent photos!! It isn’t often that both parents are in the photo, as one is generally taking the photo…these images are such a gift for parents!!

Sweet Liam & his parents came to the studio for their session…it’s always such a joy to work with them! Luckily for me, I tend to attract some of the kindest people in my area & this family is no different!!

Liam was super comfortable & snug during the whole session!! Keeping baby wrapped generally works wonders & once they are warm, generally they nod off to sleep for the remainder of the session! Studio newborn sessions are photographed between 7 to 12 days after birth when baby is still comfortable being wrapped & sleepy!

Once parent photos are finished, it’s time for the fun stuff…out come the wraps, bonnets & natural, rustic props!! My favourite colour schemes are light backgrounds with a darker coloured wrap…helps baby to stand out!!

I only book a maximum of 3 newborn clients a month!! This helps to ensure everyone receives a five star experience & keeps my calendar flexible to book newborn sessions once baby has arrived!!
