Stonehouse Vineyards Engagement Session Glengarry, Ontario
Since yesterday was Remembrance Day, I thought the blog feature should be moved to today. Seeing that Nov. 11th is a day to remember the brave men & women that have sacrificed everything for our freedoms today!
Plus, today is a snow day here in my neck of Ontario…so you will have something new to read today!! Hopefully, in front of a cozy fireplace or snuggled up on the couch with 5 blankets & a cup of something warm!
Today’s feature is a engagement session from this late summer of Jessica & Brandon!! * Fun Fact - I have TWO wedding couples named Jessica & Brandon…they are back to back weddings in July too!! *
This session wasn’t the first time these two were in front of my camera. I was lucky enough to have photographed Jessica’s family last summer, meeting her parents, sister, brother in law, nieces & nephew..such a wonderful family!
I was beyond excited when Jessica messaged me that her & Brandon were engaged!! And wanted me to photograph their wedding day! YAY!!!
They chose the beautiful grounds of Stonehouse Vineyards, just outside of Alexandria in Ontario for their engagement session. They couldn’t have chose a better location!! There are SO many options as we explored the grounds & had some wine while doing it!! (oh yes, we also took some images!)
Jessica & Brandon are high school sweethearts!! They both attended a high school in Cornwall, Ontario & haven’t left each others side since!!
I have to mention how wonderful this couple is…so thoughtful, kind, loving & we had such a great time together during their session!! They even brought along a friend to keep their dog entertained after we were finished having images with her!!
I always have such a hard time narrowing down images to feature in blog posts & this session is no exception! Each image is full of natural smiles, laughter & it is such an amazing thing to see how these two are with each other!! You truly can feel the connection they have with each other, in the stories they remember together, the laughter they share & the affection they share for “Jessica’s” dog!! (even though Brandon is the dog’s favourite! )
Our session time went by SO fast, that the sun started to hid from us!! Luckily, I had brought along my flash equipment & we were able to play around with different lighting! It’s always fun & clients are always amazed at what the end results look like!!
I am super excited for their wedding day next summer at Orchard View in Greely, Ontario!! So exciting!! A huge thank you to both Jessica & Brandon for trusting me to capture these moments for them! I am eagerly looking forward to seeing all the magical moments that will happen on their wedding day!!
Are you getting married in 2020 or 2021? It’s crazy how quickly my calendar has filled for the upcoming 2020 wedding season! There is room for two more weddings for 2020 & a handful of openings for 2021 already!! Crazy right?!?
